At ReSeat, your privacy isn't just a feature; it is the fundamental foundation of the application. We believe that your receipts, financial data, and personal documents should belong exclusively to you.
We Do Not Collect Data
ReSeat does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information, metrics, or analytics about you or your usage of the app. We do not have servers, tracking SDKs, or remote databases.
On-Device Processing
Everything ReSeat does happens entirely on your own Apple device:
- PDF Generation is written locally to temporary on-device storage.
- Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for Expense Reports uses Apple's native, on-device Machine Learning (`Vision`) framework. No images or text are ever uploaded to cloud platforms like AWS, Google, or ChatGPT.
- File Storage connects directly to your own iOS local Files app/iCloud Drive.
Camera & Photo Library Access
ReSeat requests permission to use your Camera and Photo Library strictly for the functional purpose of capturing and selecting receipt images. This media is processed locally and saved exactly to the directory you choose. We cannot and do not access your photos remotely.
